*Halloween Party post will be up sometime next week :)
I've said it so many times but it is so true we had the BEST time on Halloween this year, I'm not sure if I was just really in the moment with all the recent happenings or if it's just Luke's age but it was so much fun!
Luke had a little Halloween party at school, they got to wear their costumes and have a parade around the school. All the kids were very cute!
On our way home we stopped at Sonic for our .50 corndogs! Yum Yum
Our neighborhood goes all out for Halloween its so much fun, I feel very blessed to live in a community like this and I know Luke will have the best time with friends growing up trick or treating here.
Once we got ready we went to our favorite neighbors house, they had a fire out front and lots of chairs roasting hot dogs. We got our picture on the swing, I'm SO glad we did it's the only picture of all three of us.
We went down our street and the street behind us to hit up the cotton candy stand.
Lots of people already out!
Waiting on our cotton candy!
Lucas loved it this year and ate almost the whole thing!
We went to a few more houses before heading home, Luke had half a bucket of candy and that was plenty ;)
A fun little fact, the pumpkin bucket was my old bucket I used it trick or treating every year, it even has my name on the bottom in my little handwriting. I think that is so neat ha!
He was so excited to hand out candy, he would say "we got more visitors" it was so cute!
He would make sure they liked what he was giving them.
"Do you like strawberry"
He was talking to everyone and so polite and told them all "your welcome" when they said Thank you.
He handed out candy 2 hours straight!
Lucas is such a blessing to us. I am finally able to grasp what a precious gift he is and to really appreciate him. I pray that everyone can see their babies as I see mine and even though it took a lot of heartache to get to this point I am thankful for everything. Everyday I am learning to be a better mommy for him and for that I am grateful.
Lucas is so smart and so funny. He has such a witty personality that I just admire I hope nothing ever steals that away from him. His teacher told me just this week that he is a blessing to her and she is really enjoying having him in her class this year. I walked away with tears because I am so proud to be his mom.
I hope you and yours had a great Halloween!
Now on to Thanksgiving and Christmas! Wheeeeee

I'm pretty sure it should be a law that every street have a cotton candy machine, right?
Just stopping by from The Wiegand's, sweet Casey's blog, to personally invite you to join me for An Aloha Affair; a sort of end of week gathering and mingling and growing together. I'd love to have ya, stop by anytime...
