Thursday Tidbits!

• It has been a busy week! With Emmy's birthday, tball, dinner with friends and a play date we have been going every night! And it won't stop for the weekend either! But it's a good kind of busy, seeing people we love :)

•  Yesterday Emmy and momma got to go home! We are so thankful that Emmy is doing so well and eating great! What an answered prayer! I got to help pack her up to head home and that was so special for me. I am just so smitten with her.

• And more Emmy pictures because my phone is FULL of them! ha!

•  We had a tball game Tuesday night and in the middle of the game Lucas came over and asked if we could go to the pizza place afterward. How do you say no to that?! Brent helped coach 2nd base this week and then stayed on the field when the other team bat as well to help out and Lucas really loved that! He is a big momma's boy but when it comes to play time he is all daddy's!
•  
• We had such a fun dinner with some friends last night, I am SO sad I didn't remember to get a picture! Hate when that happens!

• Hope you all have a great weekend! Ours will consist of a carnival, a BBQ, lots of baby snuggles, and some rest :)

Thursday Tidbits!

• It has certainly been a roller coaster of a week for me! Lots of fun times, some sad moments, trying days, to much rain, and much gratitude. Something I took away from bible study last week that really stuck with me is "We must exchange whispers with God before shouts with the world".
  So before I get to work, before I get on my phone, and even before I wake Luke up I have been reading a few verses that have been highlighted in the study it has made a big difference.
• Brent gets home today! (hopefully) We are very excited!
• My busy week that I thought I was going to have turned into a slow one, thank goodness. No Tball tonight because of all the rain I'm kinda sad about that.
• Luke had his first big boy trip to the dentist yesterday! He did really good until the polishing part he really didn't like that but he got a good report with no cavities!

• First tball practice was so fun! Luke did really good I was so proud and took way to many pictures. I need to get them off the camera and put them here. Games start a week from Monday!!  

• I am SO loving my new floors. Wow what a huge difference. Also love the trim work Brent did. I feel so spoiled!

• We went to a birthday party on Saturday and some horse friends showed up. Luke loved them and wanted his picture taken. He wasn't scared of them at all and petted (is that right?) them forever. So sweet.

• Bath time! Love taking bathtub pictures every now and then :)

• The other night after Luke went to bed I got to catch up on my teen moms and eat hot tamales 2 of my guiltiest pleasures right now.

• So ready for a nice rain free weekend! Hoping to get a few more things done at the house and we have an Easter cookout to host Sunday!



Thursday Tidbits!

• This week has flew by which for once I am thankful! I am so ready to have a 'normal' home again and I can see the light at the end of the tunnel! yay!

• Today Luke's class will be hunting eggs! He was so excited we made up all his eggs last night and he picked which 12 colors he wanted to take. It's supposed to get up to 70 today so we broke out some linen pants, Toms, and a spring shirt. :)

•  We have also been gearing up for Tball! We went this weekend and got all the stuff he will need. The tiny cleats kill me, so cute! Our first practice is tonight and we are so excited! This is such a dream come true for me, a mom driving her son to tball practice. Hopefully Brent will be able to get home early today too I know he doesn't want to miss this! I am even going to get the big camera out and take pictures! Love Love Love!           

• Yesterday was warm too so we rolled the windows down and opened the sunroof! I live for days like this.

• And our floors!! They started on them yesterday and will finish up today! SO HAPPY! They are beautiful! Pictures won't do them justice I know. I can't wait to get all our furniture back in and the trim work done.

• And this is how you eat when all the furniture is in the garage. Picnic! We only did this one night since then we have just went out to eat which I am so sick of doing! So ready to fix my boys some dinner :)

• I have seen some photographers offer these necklaces but I went on the hunt for one that I could just use a picture I already had. I wanted a baby-ish picture of Luke in it. I found this one on Etsy and I just love it so much even if it does make me sound like a cat when I wear it. Jingle jingle.

• Sunday Luke and I went to lunch then to see The Crouds. A very good movie we both loved it. He is so fun to take to the movies. He does so good and loves it.

• My mouth still does not feel 100% I will be 3 weeks out tomorrow. Hoping over the next few weeks everything will get back to normal. I do not want to have to go back and see the doctor :(

• Last week when I wrote down all we were doing for the weekend I didn't end up doing any of it! ha! So I'm not going to do that this week but I know for sure I will be spending any free time for the next few days getting my house back to some sort of order! ha!
