Weekend Recap!

We had a fun weekend!

Friday after work I went and signed Luke up for swimming lessons and tumbling! Tumbling starts in a few weeks just at tball ends and swimming starts in a month. I am so excited to see how Luke likes these. I think he will do great :)

Saturday we had a birthday party at the Monkey House to go to! Lucas has a blast there, as always but even more so because he had a bunch of friend so run and jump with! It was so much fun!

                                                  Lucas and Bentley eating pizza

Lucas and Allison, these two are so funny together. He says she is his best friend :)

Lucas and Bentley again, these two are WILD together! ha!

After the party we went home for a bit then went to Aunt Kristin's to play and eat dinner. The boys have so much fun playing together it is just the best thing ever to see. I am SO sad I didn't think to take any pictures.

Sunday morning Brent went and played golf, yea he owes me a big juicy date night for that one, so Luke and I met up with Ethan and his mom at McDonald's for breakfast and some playtime!

Lucas and Ethan being monkeys.

I also made a bunch of pumpkin cupcakes on Sunday, yummy!

Sunday night we went out for Mother's Day dinner with my side. It was fun and I snagged this picture before we left :)

After dinner we came home and I got my bike out for it's first stroll of the season. We rode down to the playground to play for a little bit before bath time.

I had a great Mothers day, I am so blessed with Lucas. He is such a joy! I thought of my angel babies most of the day too but I am so grateful to be mommy to an earth angel as well :)

Happy Mom's Day!

Thanks to this little guy, who made my dreams come true.

God really blessed me with Lucas, I had no idea at the time what a true joy being a mommy was, I know now. I surly don't deserve such an amazing little boy, he is a true gift!

Happy Mothers Day!

{Happy Mudder's Day}

I had a wonderful Mother's Day! My boys are so good to me!
Friday at school was "muffins with moms" all the mom's could come in and eat a muffin (or scone) with the kids and they gave us the sweetest gift! I love it so much, I brought it to work and it keeps me very happy :)

Brent had been out of town for the last half of the week so Friday evening Luke and I picked up dinner and went home and watched movies! Tiny tip: Redbox has codes for free movies out all. the. time so I didn't have to pay for any of the movies we got! Yay!
Saturday after the rain we got out and went to Old Timers Day with Desiree and Eviee, we had fun and Luke got himself a sword out of the deal!
Brent was due home Saturday evening while we waited on him Luke went to Pawpa's for a bit and I went to eat with Desiree and Ashley at Chillies, we went to Miranda's for a bit after too! Loved seeing those girls!
Brent got home around 9ish, we were so happy to see him! I hate when he leaves but I sure do love the day he comes back! Makes my heart swell to see him after he's been away for a few days.
Sunday I woke up and did my usual stuff but was to thankful to be a mommy, and have a day to reflect. I was in the shower and I could hear Luke singing in the other room and thought that is such a gift!

This little face has my whole heart and I can't even imagine how my life would be today without him. He has blessed be in more ways then I would have ever known.
He told me twice "Happy Mudder's Day Mamma"

We didn't do anything extravagant for Mother's day we went to eat with family for lunch and came home and Brent and Luke put his new trailer together and we went on our first "real" bike ride! I call it real because I could feel the burn and I am sure I almost died! ha! We found an awesome place right in our neighborhood to ride which includes a hill! I didn't make it up the hill either time we went BUT one day I will, for the records Brent DID make up the hill pulling the trailer! He definitely keeps me on my toes when it comes to "exercising"

I felt truly AMAZING after our bike ride, I sweat like I haven't since being labor probably, I am not kidding! And bike riding is really fun for me! I thought I really liked jogging but it does not compare with this! I love that this has turned into a family sport and can see us doing this for a long time!

Last night we stayed close to home and my mom and dad came down for mothers day dinner at the pizza place, classy I know but mom and I agreed that it was great because neither of us has to cook! We all came back to the house and Lucas got to show Mema how he can ride his trike.

I ended my day with a little Sister Wives and some reading :)

Hope you got to celebrate all the Mama's in your life this weekend!

Mommy's Day Weekend!

I had a wonderful Mother's Day Weekend. Lucas and Brent got me a plant and sweet card and Brent did some of my "chores" for me! I was so happy! I feel so SO blessed to be able to be a mom!

Saturday I had to get up bright and early to take Chip and Chloe to the vet. They did really good! And checked out healthy! Chloe was my first "baby" and I love her dearly! She has been with me though so much! She is 6 years old now and I can hardly believe that! Time goes by so fast.

Then Saturday afternoon we had Ethan's 2nd Birthday Party, Ethan's hair was long and he got his big boy hair cut, I was so sad. Ha! Lucas and Ethan have been friends from birth and I hope they will always be a part of each other's lives.

Micah, Ethan, and Luke. (Micah trying to escape!)

See the knot on his head?! He ran into a chair Friday night then hit it again in the same spot at the party Saturday. It looks so bad! We really need to get him a helmet!!

Saturday evening we spent some time with my mom (Luke calls her Mema). We went to Sam's and Hobby Lobby and got dinner at Chic-fil-a. Mom and I went to the cemetery and put some flowers down for Mema. We did pink roses, they were her favorite. I miss her most on days like these. Today is my mom's birthday and I know it's going to be a tough one.

In honor of Mother's Day and Mom's Birthday we had some family over last night for dinner.

I make the cake! Ha! Doesn't it look artistic? Mom loved it and it tasted very good even if it did look a little...umm different.

Mema C. brought me a Mother's Day gift, shoes of course! Ha, I just love her.

How did she know I've been wanting some of these.

Love em!

And believe it or not my little Wally World hydrangea bush produced this! I am really getting into this flower/gardening thing. So pretty. I love having fresh flowers with out having to go buy them.

And one more sweet Mother's Day picture.

Hoping all you mommies had a wonderful weekend!
