Fun Weekend!

What a fun weekend we had! I was on cloud 9 spending time with both of my boys!

Friday night I went to the store and came home and fixed fajitas and cheesy dip for dinner! Our favorite.

 After dinner Brent went to a friends house to help him with his car for a while and Luke and I did bath time and got ready for bed. It was good to be home after a long week.

Saturday morning I got up and headed to Barre class. It was rainy and yucky and I really wanted to sleep in but I got up and went!(so very proud of myself :) It was a small class (probably because of the weather) but so SO good. I am loving how my body is shaping up! Hello swimsuit season :)

When I got home I made up some leftovers for lunch then did absolutely nothing the rest of the day. It was awesome! We watched movies, I took a nap, then we went to dinner at Joe's Pizza with some friends. After dinner Brent and I got caught up on Grey's Anatomy that we have missed for a month now! It was a great day!

 Sunday we got up and around and headed to Rogers to spend the day! We didn't have any agenda except to eat at On the Border! My very most favorite place. It was Luke's first time and he didn't seem to impressed. lol! And by happy accident I remembered it was Cinco de Mayo!

After lunch we went over to Andy's Ice cream! We sure do love that place too! They have one in Branson that we always walk to while we are there, that's where we got hooked on Andy's :)

After ice cream we headed to Cabelas. It was cool seeing all the animals and Luke loved the fish. I couldn't believe how lifelike they can make the trees!

We also headed over to the outside mall for a bit. Luke got his first taste of Build a Bear and I really want to take him back so we can build one. Brent wasn't much into that lol. We hit up the candy store and I got to spend some time in Pottery Barn.

We headed home around 3ish and I went to Wally World for some stuff we needed for the week.

After our heavy mexican meal we decided on grilled chicken salads for dinner.

 I'm not sure why I felt the need to take pictures of what I ate all weekend! ha!

Love good weekends like these. Nothing to do, nowhere much to go just hanging out with those who mean the most to me.



Our Weekend!

We had another fun low key family weekend! I am getting so spoiled with not having anywhere much to go on the weekend not sure what I'll do once I do! ha!

Friday I went to Target (my happy place) after work for some weekend essentials. Then Luke and I hung around the shop with Brent for a bit. After that we had a late dinner at Genos.

Saturday I went to my 2nd barre class. I almost did not survive this one, this stuff is hard work but I did my best and can feel things a changin! Half way threw I thought ok this isn't for me I'm not coming next week but by the end I loved the way I felt and  I will be ok! I am defiantly planing on going this week.

After barre I went to Wally World for some spray paint and other odds and ends. and after lunch we got down and dirty doing some house projects. We sprayed the roof (seems we have a mildew problem on our shingles) cleaned up the yards, I spray painted the vent cover that goes in the kitchen, did lots of laundry, cleaned the house, Brent cleaned out the garage, etc....

That night we had some family over for grilled pork chops and lots of other sides and desert :)

After everyone left I was pooped to say the least! Luke and I got in bed and watched Monsters Inc.

Sunday morning we all slept in. I til 8ish the boys til 10. We got up and around and headed to Alma. We stopped for lunch at Cracker Barrel then went to see my sister in law's new house.

Lucas and Waylon found an empty box and they had the best time. They are so cute playing together, it really doesn't get any better than this!

After we got home we did a few other things around the house and Luke played outside. We cooked dinner and got ready for bed.

After all was done I was in our room watching TV and eating my hot tamales and I just felt so happy, so full, and so grateful for such great people in my life. I am truly blessed beyond my wildest dreams!

Weekend Roundup!

We had a whole bunch of fun this weekend we all 3 got to be together all weekend long! That is almost unheard of these days.

Friday night we went to eat Mexican food for dinner and then hit up wally world for some snacks for the racetrack the next day.

Saturday morning I went to my first ever Barre class. O it was so FUN! and painful don't get me wrong but the lady who leads the class is hilarious! We worked our arms, tummy, legs, booty, all of it. There's some ballet moves mixed with aerobics mixed with yoga a dash of dance and some basic exercise. I really loved it. It's low impact too! Can't wait to go again :)

When I got home we headed down to Geno's (our home away from home) to eat lunch before we headed to the track.

We headed towards Centerville around 2:30 and got there a little after 4. It was the first time taking the new trailer and everything went great! We are all loving the extra footage.

Brent did really well. He went into the semi finals and won 4th place! He got some money too! We love when that happens :)

  I stayed in this spot most of the afternoon soaking up some sun, sweet tea, and good words! I have had some stirrings in my heart lately and am trying to figure 'things' out I guess you could say. I started One Thousand Gifts by Ann Voskamp, I've read it before but it is defiantly worth a second read.

Lucas on Saturday night, tired and but tugging right along. He is always so good at the track even when it's a very late night.

We didn't get home from Centerville til around 2am So Sunday we took it easy, slept in then went to town for lunch and to get some socks for tball.

We came home and the boys were lazy all day and I cleaned house and cooked dinner it was a good Sunday.

I am ready for another fun easy weekend!

What's been a happin! {picture overload!}

I've taken a ton of pictures the last few days! I absolutely LOVE my iPhone because it's always there to capture little things that go on that I never have my camera ready for! So anywho here is a picture over load from our sick days and the weekend :)

Wednesday on the way to school! George had to go with us, I love that Lucas loves that monkey so much :)

Thursday, Vday, Luke was so sick. It was just awful. He threw up 5 times that morning. I guess it was just a bug or maybe he just ate something he didn't like, I'm not sure because he never ran fever and by about 4 o'clock he was almost back to himself!

So sad but I was so proud that he made it to the potty every time! He's never thrown up in the toilet so that was kind of a right of passage! ha!

New kitchen! Our new hardwood floors should go in soon! I am so SO very excited and can't wait to have it all done!

Old kitchen! I think we've come along way! I had these in my phone because a friend on fb was wanting to see what our old kitchen looked like.

Sweet boy the day after being sick! He is loving his razorback hat right now for some reason :) I just love him in hats but he's never worn them, so happy I got these pictures!

Found this Hog bunting this weekend, perfect for Luke's room!

New pillows I am in love with! Slowly changing up the the living room. Took out all the green and pinky floral and now putting in some blue. I think the blue and white will look gorgeous with the new wood flooring.

Finally got something on this wall in the bedroom! Just two big frames, I've had these frames longer than I've had Brent. I bought them when I worked at Trevor's. I took the pictures that were in them out and this is the look I was going for. Love the simplicity and the lightness of it. Brent hung them yesterday and I love them :)

Slowly getting all of Luke's Bday party stuff together! I thought a picture of him last year at his party would be cute table decor!

I took these Wednesday night before the bug hit! Lucas is most defiantly a momma's boy. I never would have thought that 3 years ago, as a baby he was all about daddy. I am sure enjoying it though!

Some Vday gifts for Luke. Do you get your kids gifts on Valentines day? My mom always had a special little bag or something made up for us growing up I kinda thought everyone got something but I suppose not? I just think its fun and Lucas loved the balloons.

My sweet husband sent me these to work on Thursday then had to go pick them up because I was at home with Lucas. I love that no matter the holiday if he gets me flowers he always includes gerbera daisys, my favorite and our wedding flower. He is so good :)

This was in Luke's Valentine bag from his class party. Such a cute valentine. I just loved it.

Friday we headed to the park for little bit. Luke and George going down the slide.

Yesterday we went on a walk/ride down to the school at the end of our neighborhood. It was such a nice day yesterday I am really really hoping that it will be like that on Saturday for the party!

That's all the pictures I have. I can't believe this is my last week of having a 3 year old. O my gosh I am trying not to be sad and I want to make sure to do lots of fun things for his birthday but this is really depressing. My baby is not much of a baby anymore and that is getting hard to deal with :(

Our Weekend!

We had such a fun weekend. I am truly so happy these days. I know that sound very cliche but it's never been more true. God has really shown me how good I have it these last few weeks and I feel like that has helped me get over the last little slump I have been in. I could go on and on but I won't. My words and actions will speak for themselves :) I have so much hope for the future and I am even starting to feel some excitement about it.

Thursday I put some oranges and vinegar in a jar to make my own orange cleaner, I just thought it was pretty.

Lucas loves taking pictures of me, he is so funny!

I know the glare is bad but I got a poster print for this old frame my mom had. I just love the poster option at walmart. I can get big prints for nothing and they look great! So this pretty 11x14 picture cost be $5 because the frame was free! I thought about painting the frame but I love it as it is with that picture.

Friday night we stayed home and I cooked dinner, which I'm not sure has ever happened. ha! We had a very low key night just hangin out.

Saturday Luke and I went to lunch and hobby lobby with mom. Lucas thinks hobby lobby is a cool place, he comes up with the funniest stuff with all that he finds there. We will have to go more often.

A canvas I found at hob lob. I just fell in love with it. Love what it says, love the color and love the little birdys.

Brent spent Saturday at the shop with car stuff to do.

I cooked dinner again Saturday night, I have no idea what is wrong with me but I have cooked every single night for over a week! ha!

We didn't do much after that just watched some shows and Lucas fell asleep on the couch.

Sunday morning we got up bright and early to head north for the day! First stop was Cracker Barrel for breakfast! It was good. Lucas loved the bacon.

After breakfast we went to look at a hood that Brent wanted to buy for the Challenger. He says it was perfect so we loaded it up! It will have a shaker hood if that means anything to you ;) I love him and his car obsession so!  

After that we headed to devils den for a bit to play, explore, and take a few pictures.

  I love, love this one and wish I knew something about photoshop so I could get the shadows off our  faces but atlas I don't. Maybe that is worth some research. This one would be perfect above the fireplace.

                Of course I love this one too! He is so perfect to me. This one needs a frame for sure!

Walking though the woods. Lucas kept saying we were in the jungle! ha!

Next time I want to go in our hiking shoes with a picnic lunch and really get lost on a trail. That would be so fun!
