Weekend Stuff!

We had a fun and relaxing weekend, which is good because next weekend will be super busy!

I did a bump-date on Saturday! I totally stole this idea but think it is such a fun way to keep track for myself and to post so others who want to can keep up can. I just can't decided how often to do them. I don't want to do it every week but not sure how far apart I want them to be. humm..... 

Got some cute fall shirts in on Saturday. I love stripes on pregnant bellies and cannot wait to dress my bump for fall!

We picked up something for the baby on Saturday! Lucas poked a hole in the package because he thought they smell so good. hehe
He has also been doing so good about going to sleep and staying in his own bed. (we want to squash this habit before baby is here and I am up and down all night) Every night last week that he slept in his bed he got to pick out a hot wheels! He got 4 for last week and we will be working for more this week. :)

I also picked up the Little Mermaid to have at home. We watched it Saturday night and I just love that movie (well any Disney movie really lol) Lucas liked it too.

I am trying to stay away from caffeine and it has been so hard this time. I crave coffee and tea like no other and most days a cup of tea is the only thing to calm my stomach, so weird. So while trying to think of other things to drink besides water I tried Kool-Aid and it was a hit! Love it with a lot of ice! ha!

And last but not least of weekend happenings.

We have decided to part with the Mustang. (so if ya know anyone ;)

We love it but don't need 2 manual (that I have no desire to drive) cars so once she sells we are thinking of getting a new (automatic) Challenger. I am VERY excited about that!!

Brent is currently building 70 Challenger so we will have his and hers fun cars :)

Weekend Things!

I've been the worst momma lately with pictures! I just never seem to get any anymore! Need to be better at that for sure!

We had lots of summer fun this weekend!

Friday we stayed home and Luke and I played in the pool while Brent made dinner on the grill.

Brent and  I watched The Call with Halle Berry in it and it was freaky!

Saturday we all slept in almost til 11! Then got up and around and went to Chilis for lunch and then to see Despicable Me 2. It was pretty cute.

After that we ran to Target, Old Navy, and Bed Bath and Beyond to run some errands.

Then home for more pool time and grilling!

That night we watched Cloud Atlus and it was really hard for me to follow but I think Brent was ok with it.

Sunday we had parties all. day. long! It was wild and crazy and hectic!

After we left there we headed to Mema's so I could drop Luke off with her. I went to get my first ever massage (which was glorious! and I may be hooked. For real!) Luke went with Mema to a Thirty One party. He had fun playing at Brayden's house. I met them there once I was done.

Then we went to Emma and Wyatt's (kids from tball) party at the country club here in Greenwood. That was so fun! The pool is huge and lots of space to spread out! Kinda considering having a party there myself!

Lots of fun! Lots of friends! And now I am exhausted and still trying to catch up from Sunday! ha!

Our Weekend in {a whole lot a} Pictures!

We had a pretty good weekend! I got lots of pictures and I always love when that happens :)

Thursday evening Brent had to leave for work around 5. So Luke and I were by ourselves most of the evening. Love this picture I got at bedtime.

Friday morning I had to put gas in my car. I was appalled that $75 didn't even fill her up! I never pay much attention to gas prices because I think I would cry so this caught me really off guard. We are seriously considering getting me something more 'economical' to drive to town so why not make it fun too :)

Also on Friday Lucas got to hear all about what a police man does. One of the little girls in his class dad is a K9 unit officer and he came to tell them all about his job and show them his vehicle. I love that Luke's school is so hands on and does such fun things for the kids.

Saturday night this was my dinner :) Brent was out late racing and I had fed Lucas' hours earlier so after he went to bed I had strawberry shortcake and watched some t.v. It was great!

I was looking through my sister in laws pictures and ran across this one of her and Lucas. I just don't even know what to say. He was so tiny and I remember that onsie and that blanket like it was yesterday! Heart.Breaking. 

Saturday we spent a lot of time outside, I took it as an opportunity to work on a tan! ha! Cannot wait for the wading pool to open up! So ready for some sun on these white legs!

Saturday evening and Sunday we went to Way Way's house to see him and Emmy. Lucas in completely head over heels for this baby. It is absolutely the sweetest thing I have ever witnessed. He held her for a long time on Saturday and helped feed her. And when he wasn't holding her he was asking to! I so wanted to get a picture of all three of them but goodness Waylon is on the move and won't sit still at all! ha!

 

And Sunday we spent sometime just chillin as Luke always says. Watching SpongeBob in momma's bed doesn't get any better than that :)

Weekend Recap! {via Instagram}

I tried to keep our weekend busy and fun so we wouldn't miss Brent as much but it was still hard without him here. I am very blessed with family and friends that live so close and always include me.

Friday I came home to these beauties :)

I had ordered them awhile back but got my usual size (even though the reviews said order down) and they were way to big. So I was excited to have them and be able to wear them! They are so very comfortable too! Love em!

Saturday morning I got up bright and early to go with Desiree to Lavaca to see Kelly from Kelly's Korner speak for Mugs and Muffins at the baptist church. It was really neat. She gave her testimony and she did so well. They had yummy food too!

After that Lucas, mom and I went to eat at the pizza place (Luke's pick) in town. We had planned on getting out and going somewhere fun but it was so rainy and yucky I just wanted to stay in all day.

We came home and I got Luke down for a long nap (never happens) while I watched a teen mom marathon cleaned house and did laundry.

I also spiffied up the kitchen with this little coffee station, I really only drink cider in the mornings but do have a few coffees I keep around too for when things get tough! ha!

Saturday night Luke and I went to Alma with Brent's family. (I hate saying that because they are my family too but it's the best way to separate groups of people) It was Laura's birthday so we went to Kristin's house for a bit then to eat at Merl's steakhouse for dinner and it was so very good! I can't wait to go back and try some other stuff on the menu.

When we got back to Greenwood I let Luke play for a little bit then we headed home.

And after a week like last week and a 45 trip both ways with 3 kids in a Tahoe I needed some wine! ha!

Sunday we slept in, which was so nice! I did some flower bed work while Luke played outside, cleaned some more and did some more laundry. We made it to Happy Hour too!

That afternoon Desiree and Eviee came over for a little while to play then we went to my mom's for dinner. We got to see most of my side of the family there so that was nice.

My Mema C. fell last week and had to get stitches but she looked really good last night, it was good to see her.

That's about it! We have a full week this week with lots of fun stuff :)

Weekend Fun!

We had a fun weekend. Brent worked on the Challenger all weekend so Luke and I had to entertain ourselves. ha!

Saturday we all got up early and went to eat breakfast at the Egg and I, I'd never been but I wasn't impressed from now on we'll stick with the waffle house.

Then Luke and I were off to the Monkey House! He was so good last week with sleeping in his own bed all night we went for a treat. It was fun, he loves those places and always gets me to go down the slides which I do love!

After that we went to try and find a vacuum no luck but we did get to look at some pets at PetSmart.

Then we went to Aldi to stock up on canned stuff.

After a quick trip to Sonic (of course) we headed home.

I cleaned/cleared out the spare room which is a forever mess and did a few things around the house.

Saturday night Luke went to Pawpas and Brent and I got to go eat at Las Americas and go see a movie. We saw Dark Skies and it was pretty scary. It ended awful though!

Sunday we didn't to a whole lot, I caught up on laundry while Luke watched cartoons and played. Luke and I went to Wally World then to Sonic (I think I have a serious sonic addiction) and came back home for a little bit.

That afternoon we went to see Waylon. He is doing so well. You would never know he had just had surgery on Friday. It's truly amazing. God is so good!

Since we got home so late we just went to Geno's for dinner.

The Weekend!

After a whirl-wind of a week and an extremely busy weekend, it's Monday already! Whew, I am so ready for the 3 day weekend coming up and I really hope to spend most of it relaxing, ha!

Here are some pictures of our weekend!

My sweet puppy is getting so big, he hurt his paw on something so I've been doctoring him for the past few days. Just praying it gets better soon!

Friday night we took Luke to see his first movie in the theater! We saw the Lorax and had so much fun!! Lucas was very good, he watched to whole thing but had to get up and dance with the songs. Very cute movie I can't wait for it to come out on dvd.

Saturday evening we went to Aunt Genia's for dinner and I had to take a picture of her hydrangeas! Ahhh love em!

Sunday we spent the day at the racetrack, we had a good time, I really loved it! I got to relax in a lawn chair with my book, Luke got to play in the dirt, watch race cars and help daddy, and Brent got to race. We ate lots of junk food and I got a good tan!

Lucas and I spent some time jammin to some songs from the Lorax movie in the truck, he sings along and dances. SO funny!

We got home around 4 and Lucas slept the night away so Brent and I caught up on the last 2 episodes of this seson's Grey's Anatomy, O my word that show!! Can't wait for next season, which I kinda think will be it's last :(
